Yes, You Can… Keep Going
Don’t fall off, please. That’s me, talking to myself.
Consistency is difficult, that’s why I said I would post on Medium every Monday, forever, and I didn’t.
At some point I fell off and couldn’t do what it took to meet my words. I’m back again. This time I’m not promising forever. Forever is too strong. I will just try and come up with original posts as often as I can and post them up.
Success is guaranteed
From what I am seeing and even experiencing in my own life, success is guaranteed. If you keep going and keep working, doors open and you overcome.
The problem and obstacle we face is that when you are inside the storm it is difficult to see. When things are toughest and nothing seems to be going your way it is easy to lose hope and get despondent. It is easy think nothing is working.
I remember my tougher times and down moments. Often times I didn’t have a clue how I would make it out. The days seemed long and they offered little signs of a breakthrough. I am glad I stuck it out when it was easier, and maybe even reasonable to quit.
Most of the greatest people in the world are where they are because they persisted and kept on going. They never stopped putting the time in and piling the hours up. That’s why I say success is guaranteed; it will come with hard work, we just have to remain in the game to see it.

Monday rules
This is a heavy one: setting rules and times for my posts. I will try and push myself that every Monday by 7PM Standard South African Time I will post up or will have posted up.
As I write this I wonder if I will even fulfil this mandate next week. But hey, bite it off and chew it. That’s how we grow. Challenge and push yourself; see if can hang. If you can, brilliant. If you can’t, learn, improve, start again.
Don’t give up.
